It was a grey and rainy day, and I wanted to capture the feeling I had when I stood there admiring the colours and shapes: through calmness came an uplifting and magical feeling like being in a story book. The zig zags of the layered icebergs give a sense of playfulness encapsulated in the coffee table and armchairs as well as in the painting by one of my favourite artists Paul Klee. This is further accentuated by the pendant imitating the twinkling dance of starts in the sky. The glass side tables were chosen as a reference to the translucency and glow of the ice and water, and a dark teal wall colour grounds the cool tones of the scheme by making it feel more cosy.
